In different multi-cultural forums there has been a clear essential feature related to the importance of genuinely listen to our pairs, colleagues and co-workers.
Quite often focus is given to improve communication process based on ' how we express ourselves'. However an attentive listening might bring a complete new perspective to the dialog and an even better interaction in & among teams leading to the best possible solutions and results .
Try to put your attention to what is said without worrying to what you have to answer. Give yourself sometime to organize your thoughts and then express your point of view , comment on how what was said was integrated to the original idea, ask for additional information - if necessary.
We might not agree to the whole idea, but it is worth exercising respect & acceptance when we listen to each other.
